Robotic
For my free art works I have approached a style of comic-like figures mixed with a certain closeness to reality. For the most part, the subjects have no serious background or deeper meaning. For me, my art must be aesthetically pleasing and entertaining. The interpretation of the motifs is then left to each individual. Mostly my characters represent robots or animals. Especially the fascination with technology has led me to the former.
But discovering your own style is a process that never ends!
An important part of my free works is the reference to my origin, the letters. Like most artists in the scene, I started with lettering before I discovered my passion for the figurative.
So I always try to incorporate at least one lettering in the background, symbolic for my „background“.
New influences from commissioned work or colleagues from the scene make me always try out new things. This exchange of ideas is what motivates me to continue to perform at my best. Therefore, the regular participation in various graffiti festivals and jams every year is a highlight for me!
The Cool Store
A special project must be highlighted here by all others: My biggest free work to date! The 2017 production was created in Mural Harbor in Linz Harbor, Austria. I was offered the opportunity to completely redesign one side of the new refrigerated warehouse there. The size of the area was almost 500m², which I painted in 2 stages in a total of 10 days. The motif refers to the cold storage hall, hence the title of this project. In the course of the painting process, I incorporated numerous small details, such as a portrait of the Mural Harbor initiator, a clock tower magnet, a coded price tag, and much more. The motif was painted exclusively with spray cans.
This little guy in the middle is me!
